Category / Country Store Lookup Issues

CATFINDER for US/CA/UK/DE stores is currently available. The data is available only because we have Affiliate revenue in those stores. Affiliate sales via links for other country stores will let me expand CATFINDER to those stores.

If you are from a non-US area, a few purchases of anything using this country-specific Zon link will help out: https://amazon.com/?tag=bklnk20-20 . BKLNK can only access Zon data if we have enough affiliate sales for that country. (I'm not getting rich here on affiliate sales...maybe enough for a package Cherry Jelly Belly's each a month. But any purchase (no matter of what) via the link is how we can get access to other Zon country store data.)

The only way to get other Zon country store's data is if we have affiliate sales for those countries. That's why it's important for non-US visitors to use the above link to help support this site. If we have enough affiliate sales in UK, for example, then we can add that store back to the CATFINDER site.

Why There is a Problem

Access to Zon country stores requires sales via country affiliate links. That's the Zon's rules.

Our US Affiliate sales are fine. We were able to add AU in 20 Jul 2022 after it went away. UK store data was added previously. Both UK/AU data is now available due to affiliate sales in those stores. Thanks to our UK/AU visitors for using our affiliate link for purchases..

Zon requires a certain level of sales in a country store to allow API access. Not enough sales - no access for CATFIND. So we can only CATFIND in the stores where our Affiliate revenue meets Zon requirements.

Sorry. It's Zon's rules. The only way we can get access to your country store is to use our Affiliate link for your country. Here's yours, according to your geocode: https://amazon.com/?tag=bklnk20-20 . There is no additional cost to you when using our Affiliate tag in any Country store, although we are required to state "As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases".

A Possible Workaround for Category Research for Other (non US/CA/UK/AU) Stores

Since CATFINDER only works on the Zon US/Canada stores, use one of those stores for the ASIN/ISBN-10 number for your book. Then figure out the categories you should use with the CATALIZE button. Use CATFINDER with other books in your genre. Keep track of the categories that are found with those tools.

From your research, choose the best categories for your book. Ask the Zon support for your Zon country store to add those new categories to your book. And maybe ask them to ensure those categories are in all Zon country stores.
